Barcelona to sell surprise player in order to accommodate Chelsea target Dani Olmo
Barcelona are reported to go to any extent to make sure they sign Spanish forward Dani Olmo in this summer’s transfer window. Olmo is expected to leave RB Leipzig this summer and appears to favor a return to his childhood club.
And according to a report by Gerard Romero, Barcelona’s interest is strong enough that the club is willing to part ways with a key player in their team in order to fund a move for Olmo.
Romero said, “I’m not going to say a name, but today there were two representatives who gave me the name of a Barcelona player who could be put on the market in the event of Dani Olmo’s arrival, and I didn’t expect this name. Are we really ready for the arrival of Dani Olmo and the departure of someone important? It would worry me.”
Olmo has also been linked with a move to Chelsea.
