Barcelona still interested in signing Portuguese duo from Manchester City and Atletico Madrid respectively
The Catalan giants are still keen to secure the transfer of Portuguese duo Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix regardless of their dire FFP situation. There are reports suggesting that Barcelona will try to bring both players at the end of the summer window, if they have some space in their salary limit.
Aston Villa and Benfica have cooled their interest in Felix due to Atletico Madrid’s €60m valuation of the talented forward. Barcelona are now putting all transfers on hold to secure a deal for Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.
Meanwhile, Manchester City held talks with Barcelona over a potential €30m deal for club outcast Joao Cancelo.
