Barcelona sent warning over Dani Olmo transfer

Barcelona has been warned that RB Leipzig will only consider a proposal for Dani Olmo if the Catalan giants are willing to match their financial demands. The Bundesliga giants are prepared to let the forward re-join his former club this summer.

Personal terms have been agreed with Olmo and Barcelona is reportedly ramping up in their efforts to sign the Euro 2024 winner. Barcelona have submitted an offer worth €61m, but Leipzig are unimpressed with the payment structure offered by the Catalan giants.

Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schroder said: “If we don’t reach an agreement with a club, then the player will stay with us. And if there is something suitable, we will consider it. But one thing is also clear: there can be no single winner.”
