Barcelona expected to fail in their latest attempt to sign Dani Olmo

La Liga giants Barcelona are yet to meet RB Leipzig’s price demands for their star striker Dani Olmo, as Sport claims that the German club will be rejecting their second bid for the Euro 2024 winner.

Olmo has registered 29 goals and 34 assists in 134 appearances for Leipzig and his performances at Euro 2024 has forced the hand of Barcelona, who now want to bring their academy talent back to Camp Nou.

The player is said to be interested in returning back to Catalonia and Barcelona’s latest bid for him is thought to be an upfront €50m (£42.5m) with up to €15m (£12.7m) in performance-related add-ons, but Leipzig want a guaranteed €55m (£46.7m) to let go of Olmo.

It looks like Barcelona will fail in to land the player with their budget limitations as of now.
