Barcelona considering re-signing former player from Tottenham
The Catalan giants are said to believe that Joao Cancelo may not be joining them on a permanent basis in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Caughtoffside report that this has led to the Blaugrana instead trying to bring back their former player Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur.
Italian giants AC Milan currently lead the race for Emerson’s transfer, however, they recently had a €14m offer rejected by Tottenham. They are expected to try again soon, which means Barcelona may have limited time to plan this move.
It is also important to note that Barcelona won’t be willing to sign Emerson on a permanent deal, especially considering that they already have Hector Fort and Julian Araujo as alternative options to Jules Kounde.
