The Blaugrana are ready to offload former German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who announced his retirement from international football on Tuesday morning. The Catalan giants have agreed to let Gundogan re-join Manchester City on a free transfer this summer.

The 33-year-old has been one of the best players for Barcelona since arriving from Man City last season. He has been a mainstay in the middle of the park, but the club are now ready to sacrifice him due to their precarious financial situation.
