Atletico’s Diego Simeone hints at more transfers

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has hinted at more transfers as the La Liga giants reportedly look for a new midfielder to buy on loan, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X. The Rojiblancos have overseen a busy summer transfer window, signing Julian Alvarez, Conor Gallagher, Alexander Sorloth and Robin Le Normand, in addition to loanees, Clement Lenglet and Juan Musso.

Atletico manager Simeone was even quoted saying:

“There will be one more arrival.”

The capital side are looking to win their third title in La Liga under Diego Simeone and have accumulated four points from their opening two games of the campaign. They drew 2-2 to Villarreal on the opening day but recovered to beat Girona 3-0 at home on matchday two.
