Aston Villa vs Chelsea Player Ratings- Enzo Fernandez superb as Gusto, Nicolas Jackson shines
Chelsea continued their excellence in the domestic cup competitions this season as they beat Aston Villa 3-1 in the FA Cup fourth-round replay on Wednesday, February 7. The Blues opened the scoring in the 11th minute at Villa Park via Conor Gallagher.
Nicolas Jackson doubled their lead in the 21st minute before Enzo Fernandez made it 3-0 in the 54th minute with an exceptional free kick. Moussa Diaby got one back for Villa in stoppage time but it was merely a consolation.
Despite languishing in 11th place in the Premier League, Chelsea have done well in the cup competitions this campaign. They are set to face Liverpool in the EFL Cup final at Wembley on February 25.
They will host Leeds United in the FA Cup fifth round three days later.
