Aston Villa joins the race for Romelu Lukaku

The Villains have reportedly joined the race to sign Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku who has emerged as a possible option for Unai Emery. The Belgian striker is currently training separately and Chelsea wants his transfer situation to be resolved as soon as possible.

Napoli have emerged as the most likely landing spot for the outcasted forward and the Blues are demanding around £30 million to part ways with the 31-year-old striker. His proposed move to join his former manager Antonio Conte would allow Chelsea to sign their top transfer target Victor Osimhen this summer.

But, Napoli now faces serious competition from Aston Villa who are pushing hard to agree on a deal for the Belgian record goalscorer.
