AS Roma snatched an important victory at home when hosting Dynamo Kyiv. The host scored an early goal at the beginning of the first half when Artem Dovbyk converted it from the spot. The goal stood until the final whistle and took Roma to their first victory in the Europa League this season.

Kyiv on the other hand, sits second from the bottom after suffering two defeats from two matches in the Europa League. Their next European night agenda will be hosting Ferencvaros in November.
