Arsenal targeting Espanyol goalkeeper Joao Garcia

According to The Athletic, Arsenal have already done ‘excellent groundwork’ on Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia as they aim to make him one of their first signings of the summer.

With Aaron Ramsdale most probably leaving for more game-time this summer, the Gunners will be in need of a backup goalkeeper for David Raya and Garcia reportedly fits the bill.

The report states that Arsenal’s goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana has selected Garcia as an ideal choice to fill in for Raya in the upcoming season.
