Arsenal target set to sign new deal at Bayern Munich

Arsenal have to look elsewhere this summer as Joshua Kimmich is set to sign a new deal at Bayern Munich. The German star is open to staying with the Bundesliga side beyond 2025 despite interest from Barcelona, Manchester City and PSG.

As per a report by Florian Plettenberg, Kimmich has been offered a deal to extend his contract at Bayern Munich. The details are ye tot be ironed out but the talks have been positive between the parties.

Kimmich cast a doubt on his future earlier this summer and said:

“You can always talk to each other reasonably. All doors are open to everyone. Generally speaking, I feel really comfortable here. All my kids were born here, we built a house. Of course, last season wasn’t so successful, that’s not what Bayern and I want. Now I’m hungry, full of energy.”
