Arsenal submit a second bid for Premier League goalkeeper Daniel Bentley
The Gunners have submitted an improved bid for Wolves goalkeeper Daniel Bentley after their initial £50,000 bid was rejected. Bentley has been identified as a key target for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal have now made an improved bid of £300,000 for the 31-year-old shot-stopper.
Mikel Arteta is looking to strengthen the goalkeeping department amid speculation of Aaron Ramsdale’s imminent move in this summer transfer window. Bentley joined Wolves in 2023 as a backup goalkeeper after spending the bulk of his career in the Championship.
Wolves are demanding £1 million for the 31-year-old who had spent seven years in the Arsenal youth academy before being released in 2008.
