Arsenal have been asked to pay release clause for Joan Garcia
The Gunners have reached a verbal agreement with Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia over a possible summer move to the Emirates this summer. The Spaniard has been identified as an ideal replacement for Aaron Ramsdale, who will the club in the final few days of the summer window.
Arsenal will have to pay Garcia’s release clause of β¬30 million, which could increase to β¬35 million, if the goalkeeper receives a call-up from the Spanish international team. Espanyol want Arsenal to pay the entire release clause if they are serious about signing the Spaniard.
