“We have experience now from last year”: Bukayo Saka confident of lifting Premier League title after Tottenham win
Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka vowed not to replicate the failure of capturing the Premier League title last season. With three games remaining, losing is not an option for the London-based if they still want to keep the title hope alive.
Saka, who scored one of Arsenal’s three goals in the derby, highlighted that this is not the time to make mistakes that would cost them the title.

“There is not much room for error and we have experience now from last year and we are ready for the last three games,” Saka told TNT Sports. “We showed that today. Maybe last season that could have ended in a draw and we showed we have the experience.”
Saka now has 15 league goals this season, the best he has achieved during his professional career. Previously, his best record was scoring 14 goals in one single league season, which he did last term. He said he was happy with the milestone and hoped to achieve many more records with Arsenal.
“Of course it is really nice and hope I can continue breaking records like this.”
After leading three goals on the break, Arsenal started switching off in the second half. It allowed Spurs to score two goals which made The Gunners nearly get caught in a comeback by the hosts. Saka admitted that his side was struggling in the second half, especially during the last minutes of the game.
“The last 20 minutes wasn’t nice, but it was worth it,” Saka told Sky Sports. “We know it is a big derby and they don’t want to lose 3-0 at home. Momentum shifted their way but I am proud of the boys — we managed to get the three points.
“We needed to be calm and everything was frantic. We showed our level heads at the end and I am proud of everyone, it was a nice moment — we know what it means to the fans.”
