Andriy Lunin will not make a move this summer
The Ukrainian goalkeeper played a pivotal role for Real Madrid in their Champions League and La Liga triumphs last season in the absence of No.1 goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. But, Lunin was expected to leave this summer in order to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper was not ready to play second fiddle to the Belgian goalkeeper, as he wanted guaranteed first-team opportunities in the ongoing season. But, a new report from Mundo Deportivo suggests that Lunin might end up staying at Bernabeu this summer.
However, Real Madrid will run the risk of losing Lunin as a free agent next summer, as his current deal with the club expires in 2025.
