Al-Nassr Eyeing Ederson as New Goalkeeper

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr has made headlines by agreeing on personal terms with Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.

According to Gianluigi Longari, the Brazilian international has agreed to a two-year contract worth €60 million (£51m/$65m). This transfer marks a significant step for the Saudi Pro League which continues to attract top European talent. ESPN says Al Nassr have offered Ederson a triple-your-money deal to the Brazil international.

For their part, City will not block the keeper from leaving should he choose to make the move to Saudi. However, City will seek £30-35m from Al Nassr to sell.

Ederson’s move could signal the end of his illustrious Premier League career and fill the gap left by David Ospina.
