Al Nassr confirms new goalkeeper for €18m

Saudi Pro League heavyweights Al-Nassr officially confirmed the signing of their new goalkeeper in Brazil’s Bento earlier today via their X (formerly Twitter) platform account. The 25-year-old signed the €18m contract at a pre-season preparatory camp in Portugal and will run until 2028.

Bento fills in the void left by Colombian keeper David Ospina who left the club following the expiry of his contract earlier in June.

Previously, the Saudi capital club was interested in the signature of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson for €30 million but the bid was rejected as the reigning English champions demanded €60 million for the Brazilian.
