Rafael Leao (AC Milan)

The Portuguese international was sensationally dropped by his manager against Lazio on matchday three. Leao has bagged a goal and an assist already in the league but is visibly struggling to adapt to the game plan of Paulo Fonseca. The 25-year-late is often sluggish and lethargic in pressing which allows the opponents to move the ball forward swiftly. However, Milan looked lacklustre in attack in the absence of Leao against Lazio and it was his late goal off the bench which helped the side from facing defeat. Rafael Leao will be placed back in the lineup from the start and will aim to add to his previous two-goal contributions against Venezia.

Tijjani Reijnders has quickly established himself as an internal part of Paulo Fonseca’s system. The 26-year-old started Milan’s last two games against Parma and Lazio respectively.
