AC Milan and Tottenham at a Standstill Over Emerson Royal Transfer

Negotiations for Brazilian defender Emerson Royal between AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur have hit a snag.

Despite Tottenham’s willingness to offload the player, the clubs are struggling to agree on the transfer fee. Tottenham are demanding more than €20 million, a figure Milan finds too steep.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that talks have stalled with neither side making progress. Emerson Royal who played a supportive role at Spurs last season is eager for a move to Milan where he hopes to secure more regular playing time.

But Tottenham’s firm stance on the transfer fee aiming to recover a significant portion of the £26 million they initially invested is causing a deadlock. Emerson Royal’s desire to join AC Milan remains in limbo with both clubs needing to find common ground to move forward.
