Inter Milan defeated Como 2-0 in Serie A at the San Siro on Monday to stretch their unbeaten run to 11 games. This win will help Inter Milan to be back within three points of league leaders Atalanta. Defender Carlos Augusto’s head from midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu’s corner gave the hosts a lead just after the second half. Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer was on top of his game making crucial saves to deny an equaliser as there were signs of some tiredness. This was Simone Inzaghis’s third outing in a week.

Inter Milan ensured their victory after Marcus Thuram scored from the right side of the penalty box in the stoppage time to make it 2-0. It was Thuram’s 12th goal goal of the season and made him level with Atalanta striker Mateo Retegui.
