Roma hosted Lecce in Serie A on Saturday, December 7 at the Stadio Olimpico and secured a morale-boosting 4-1 win against their rivals.

Alexis Saelemaekers gave the hosts the perfect start as he scored early in the first half to make it 1-0 to Roma. They played well for the rest of the first period, barring a mistake late in the first half to gift Lecce a penalty. Nikola Krstovic stepped up and scored to ensure the teams were tied 1-1 at the break.
