Poland 1-2 Scotland Player Ratings: Andy Roberton’s goal plunges Poland to relegation

In the high-stakes UEFA Nations League clash, Scotland stunned Poland with a late goal beating them 2-1 on home soil to stage a dramatic turnaround in the standings of Group 1, League A. It was a battle for third place to avoid the automatic relegation to League B at Kazimierz Górski National Stadium in Warsaw.

For Scots, John McGinn opened the account early within five minutes only for the hosts to level the score in the latter half courtesy of Kamil Piatkowski’s cracking shot from outside of the box. However, the Liverpool left-back Andy Roberton had other plans, who came up with a thumping headed goal in the final moments of the game to snatch all three points from the home side.
