Newcastle plotting a late move for Anthony Elanga

The Magpies are exploring a blockbuster move for former Man United attacker Anthony Elanga as they are eager to sign a new winger before the window shuts at 11 pm. Elanga scored five goals and nine assists in 39 appearances across all competitions last season for Nottingham Forest.

The Swedish winger joined Nottingham in the summer of 2023 and has developed into an integral part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad in the past 12 months. Newcastle are looking for a direct replacement for Miguel Almiron who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
