Man Utd exploring last-minute move for Carney Chukwuemeka

The Red Devils are considering a surprise bid for Chelsea attacking midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka who has been heavily linked with an exit in the final few hours of the summer transfer window.

United have also been linked with Chelsea outcast Raheem Sterling on the deadline day but the club are apparently not interested in his services. They have set their eyes on 20-year-old Chukwuemeka who is reportedly seeking more playing time and a loan move to Old Trafford would be beneficial for both parties.

The England international reportedly has a £40m release clause but United are unlikely to trigger it on the deadline day.
