OFFICIAL: Hannibal Mejbri completes permanent transfer to Burnley

Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has completed his move to Championship side Burnley on a four-year contract. The Clarets have agreed to pay £9 million including add-ons for the youngster’s services.

The 21-year-old joined United in the summer of 2019, but struggled for game time in his five-year spell with the Red Devils. Mejbri has scored one goal in 13 appearances and had loan spells with Birmingham City and Sevilla.

United have also managed to add a sell-on clause worth 50%, which will reduce over time and have also inserted a buy-back clause and matching rights into the contract, according to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano.
