BREAKING: Lazio considering a late move for Víctor Lindelof

Lazio are considering a late swoop for Manchester United defender Víctor Lindelof according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. The Swedish defender has missed the first two games of the Premier League due to a toe injury.

The 30-year-old centre-back has been heavily linked with a move out of Old Trafford and has attracted interest from several Italian clubs including Lazio and Fiorentina. Lazio are reportedly in the hunt for defensive reinforcements and could make an offer Lindelof before Friday, 30 August.

If he fails to secure a move in this summer, Lindelof will be used as a full-back due to the absences of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia in the left-back position.
