The Eagles are reportedly gearing up a move for Liverpool defender Joe Gomez who has been viewed as a direct replacement to Marc Guehi. Guehi has been linked heavily with a move to Newcastle United for several weeks and his transfer could be resolved before the deadline day.

Following Sepp van Der Berge’s transfer to Brentford, Liverpool are now to only four centre-backs with Joe Gomez exploring a move away from Anfield in the final days of the summer window.
