Defenders

Ivan Balliu — 6/10. Average outing for the RB. Not tested a lot in 1v1s.

Florian Lejeune — 6/10. Was very solid for the most part in the centre of the pitch. Very lucky to not give away a penalty.

Abdul Mumin — 7/10. Rock at the back for Rayo. Headed everything away that was sent into the box.

Alfonso Espino — 6/10. Had his plate absolutely full with Lamine Yamal. Won the most duels (9) and also lost the most (11).

Midfielders

Jorge De Frutos —7/10. Completed all of his passes and provided the assist in a really composed performance.

Unai Lopez — 7/10. Scored the goal for Rayo Vallecano. Celebrated making his debut a decade ago today.

Oscar Valentin — 5/10. Bossed around by Pedri and Bernal in phases. Taken off with an injury.

Alvaro Garcia — 7/10. Looked threatening at times and posed questions for Gerard Martin. Very good out of possession too.

Forwards

Sergio Camello — 6/10. Created 3 chances but failed to take any shots as the team’s main striker.

Isi Palazon – 6/10. Very silent game from him. Failed to make any real impact.

Marc Andre Ter Stegen – 5/10. Should never be considering the goal he did. Needs to do better.

Defenders

Jules Koude – 6/10. Defensively basically flawless but could have created a lot more interesting and dangerous.

Pau Cubarsi – 7/10. Completed the most passes. Good defensively as well.

Inigo Martinez – 7/10. Very solid performance from him. His best of the season so far.

Gerard Martin – 5/10. A first start for him. Looked troubled for the most part.

Midfielders

Pedri – 8/10. Exquisite performance once again. Once he takes over the game, it’s a sight to watch. Scored the equaliser.

Marc Bernal – 7/10. The 17-year-old is really beginning to make a mark as a starter in this team. Hopefully, the injury isn’t too serious.

Lamine Yamal – 7/10. Keeps going until he creates something. Assisted Barcelona’s winner in what was a more silent game for him.

Raphinha – 7/10.
Created 3 chances and took 3 shots as well. Involved with the assist for Pedri’s goal.

Ferran Torres – 5/10. Once again he was below par. Should soon lose his starting berth.

Forward

Robert Lewandowski – 6/10. Largely silent today. However, did have a goal chalked off for a foul in build-up.

Substitutions:

Dani Olmo – 9/10. Game changer. Scored the winner on debut and changed Barca’s entire intensity after coming on.

Alejandro Balde – 6/10.
