Barcelona banking on closing Nike deal to sign Nico Williams

While Barcelona’s hopes of signing Euro 2024 winner Nico Williams in the ongoing transfer window might have taken a backseat, the club hinted that there still remains a chance of the Spaniard coming to Camp Nou.

However, the fate of the deal depends on ongoing negotiation for a lucrative agreement between the club and Nike. 

With the market set to close next Friday, club President Joan Laporta and his team are racing against time to finalize a deal that would significantly reinforce the squad in a critical position.

Securing Nico Williams would be a major coup for Barca and inject fresh energy into Hansi Flick’s team.
