Carney Chukwuemeka looks set to leave Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka was not part of the game against Wolves as the England international could leave Stamford Bridge in the final few days of the summer window.

The 20-year-old versatile midfielder was impressive for the Blues last season but his struggle with injuries has moved him down the pecking order. Several clubs have made contact with the player’s availability and will assess his options in the next few days.

An exit is even more likely for Chukwuemeka following the arrivals of Joao Felix and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this summer.
