Chelsea eyeing two alternative options to Victor Osimhen

The Blues were heavily linked with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, but a move could be derailed due to the forward’s staggering wage demands. According to reports, Osimhen is demanding a salary of £500,000-a-week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

Chelsea have been closely monitoring the Napoli forward throughout the summer, but are yet to reach an agreement with the Nigerian international. The Blues are also reluctant to pay his mammoth £110million release clause.

The club is currently looking at other alternatives, with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Juventus outcast Federico Chiesa, as two potential options for the West London giants.
