Wolves boss Gary O’Neil to be ‘Surprised’ if any other star player departs: Report

Wolves reporter ‘Liam Keen’ via ‘Express & Star‘ has laid out that after the departure of big names like Max Kilman and Pedro Neto in the summer transfer window, Wolves have no further plans to sell another lot of big hitters before the window shuts.

Liam Keen enlisted that O’Neil would be ‘unbelievably surprised’ if players like Matheus Cunha and Joao Gomes were to leave the club this window.

Gary O’Neil’s thought process here can be inferred from the fact that even after raising a sum of over £90 million from the sale of Kilman and Neto so far, the Old Gold’s hierarchy has failed to bring in proper replacements, with only a few days left in the window.

Moreover, reports from some of the sources close to the club have insisted that Wolves are only in a position to spend around £20 million from their initial lot of sale proceeds.
