BREAKING: Barcelona agree €12m deal for the sale of Mikayil Faye

The Catalan giants have reportedly agreed on a €12 million deal with Stade Rennais for the sale of their young defender Mikayil Faye. The 20-year-old centre-back will join the French club on a permanent deal and will fly out on Friday to sign his contract.

Barcelona have successfully included a 25% sell-on clause and a buy-back clause set at €35m in the contract. Faye has been a long-term target for French clubs, with Lille thought be very much keen on the Senegalese defender.

Mikayil Faye’s Barcelona career has ended without playing a game for the first-team.
