Wolves to have a domino effect on transfers if Aaron Ramsdale and Dara O’Shea deal materializes: Report

Premier League outfit Wolves earlier placed an offer in front of league rivals Arsenal in order to sign the Gunners’ goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. The Old Gold’s offer was reportedly of a loan deal with an option to buy (via ‘David Ornstein’ – The Athletic).

Meanwhile, Gary O’Neil’s Wolves had further been linked with a move for EFL Championship club Burnley’s defender Dara O’Shea. The latest development on the Old Gold’s interest in the player insists that the Midlands-based club has placed a ‘firm offer’ to Burnley in regards to signing O’Shea before the window shuts (via ‘Johnny Phillips‘ – Sky Sports).

Wolves reporter Liam Keen from Express & Star has recently laid out that if the above-mentioned transfers materialize, it could have a domino effect on further movements from the club in the ongoing window.

Liam Keen has inflicted that if Wolves do manage to get Ramsdale from Arsenal, either Jose Sa or Dan Bentley could depart the club before the window shuts.

Similarly, if a deal with Burnley for Dara O’Shea is struck, center-back Santi Bueno could be sent on a loan spell for the time being.

It is considering that it appears at the moment that Yerson Mosquera, Toti Gomes, and Craig Dawson are pretty much picked as the initial choice defenders by O’Neil to go with this season until a new defensive option arrives.

The next couple of days could be both exciting and decisive for Wolves’ hierarchy in terms of how they sort things out.
