Newcastle eyeing a move for Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen

The Magpies are looking for a few defensive reinforcements this summer and are reportedly interested in signing Andreas Christensen, who can be a quality acquisition for Eddie Howe’s side.

Barcelona are hesitant to let the Danish international leave, but an offer of over €30 million could be enough to tempt the Catalan giants to sell the former Chelsea defender. The 28-year-old center-back can operate as a full-back as well as a defensive midfielder. 

It remains to be seen whether Newcastle United make a formal bid for Christensen in the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.
