Fiorentina set sights on Victor Lindelof

Serie A outfit Fiorentina are interested in signing Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof, who has moved down the pecking order following the arrival of Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt this summer. The Swede has been in and out of the starting lineup since Erik ten Hag’s arrival in 2022.

Lindelof has entered the final 12 months of his contract and was restricted to just 28 appearances in all competitions. Fiorentina are open to signing the centre-back on a loan deal and are keen to sign multiple defenders before the summer window shuts down.

The 30-year-old signed a contract extension earlier this year, which extended his current deal to 2025.
