Liverpool given chance to sign former PSG midfielder Marco Verratti

Liverpool have been offered the chance to sign Al-Arabi midfielder Marco Verratti, who reportedly wants a return to Europe in this summer transfer window. The Reds are in the market for a new central midfielder after Martin Zubimendi rejected a move to Anfield earlier this week.

Former PSG midfielder Marco Verratti, who has just one year left on his contract in the Middle East is now considering a move back to Europe and has contacted Liverpool and a host of Premier League clubs about his availability this summer.

The 31-year-old midfielder is undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in Europe, but his best years are behind him.
