Tottenham amidst Richarlison conundrum as the Brazilian not interested in Saudi offer: Report

According to a recent report by ‘BBC’, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Richarlison is not interested in a potential move away from the club in the ongoing 2024 summer transfer window. The 27-year-old is of the view that staying at the club and performing in England’s top tier will also have a positive impact on his international career with Brazil.

Richarlison joined Spurs a couple of years back in a big money move of about £60 million from Everton. However, his career at the North London-based club hasn’t hit the heights expected at the time of his arrival.

With Ange Postecoglou and Spurs reportedly in the market for an out-and-out striker this window, offers for Richarlison have been there to consider.

As per ‘BBC‘, some of the Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in signing the Brazilian this window, with one club ( reportedly Al-Hilal – via CBS Sports Golazo), also putting forward a bid for him. However, admitting about the particular offer, Richarlison conveyed what he thinks would be right for him at this stage.

“There has been an offer, but my dream of playing for the Brazilian Selacao and in the Premier League speaks louder”, the forward reportedly stated to ESPN Brazil.

Tottenham have been reportedly linked with a move for Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke. Ange Postecoglou’s side is reportedly close to bringing the England international to London. It would be interesting to find out how Richarlison’s situation pans out if Solanke does join Spurs before the window shuts.
