Sturm Graz 2-2 PSG: Player ratings from an entertaining pre-season contest as the Parisians relinquished two-goal advantage

PSG threw away a two-goal cushion to draw 2-2 with Sturm Graz in their pre-season friendly on Wednesday. Goals from Ibrahim Mbaye and Carlos Soler had the Parisians 2-0 up inside the opening 15 minutes of the game, but the Austrian side fought back through Amady Camara and Otar Kiteishvili before the break. With no further goals at either end, the sides ended up sharing the spoils at the 28 Black Arena in Austria. Here are the player ratings for both teams:

Jon Stankovic – 5.5/10: Offered no resistance to PSG’s forward movements

Tomi Horvat – 6/10: Showed his attacking capabilities in bits and parts

Otar Kiteishvili – 7.5/10: Scored the equalizing goal for the Austrian side

William Boving – 6/10: Struggled to impose himself on the left flank

Forwards

Amady Camara – 7.5/10: Reduced the deficit for his team just three minutes after falling behind 2-0

Mika Biereth – 6.5/10: Was mostly second-fiddle to Camara

Matvei Safonov – 6/10: Looked solid early on but buckled under pressure when Sturm Graz upped the ante

Naoufel El Hannach – 7/10: Played the entirety of the game and rarely put a foot wrong

Lucas Beraldo – 6/10: Left some spaces in behind and couldn’t contribute much attacking-wise either

Lee Kang-in – 6/10: The Korean was a bright spark for PSG from an attacking standpoint

Marco Asensio – 7/10: Another PSG player who completed the game, Asensio also provided the assist for Mbaye’s opening goal

Carlos Soler – 7.5/10: Doubled his side’s advantage with a well-taken goal

Ibrahim Mbaye – 7.5/10: Put the Parisians in front in the ninth minute
