Liverpool considering move for 22-year-old Willian Pacho

The Reds are eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho, who has been earmarked as a replacement for Joel Matip, who left Liverpool this summer. Liverpool are in the market for defensive reinforcements and have been linked with several defenders.

Pacho, meanwhile, has been linked with the Merseyside giants for quite some time now and Liverpool will have to shell out a minimum of £50m for the Ecuadorian centre-back. Liverpool are looking to bring in a left-sided centre-back this summer.

The South American could indeed be an ideal replacement for Joel Matip, who ended his eight-year spell with the Reds this summer. He is strong in the air and is quicker than Matip was.
