Crystal Palace sign Marseille winger on a five-year deal: Report

Premier League club Crystal Palace have signed Ligue 1 side Marseille’s winger Ismaila Sarr on a five-year-deal. The Senegal international has signed a contract with the Eagles that will keep him at Selhurst Park till June 2029.

As per ‘BBC’, the transfer fee involved in the move is deemed to be about £12.5 million. Sarr has Premier League experience, as the 26-year-old has played a decent chunk of matches for his former club Watford in the top-tier of English football.

Despite his primary position being a left-winger, Sarr is equally potent on the right wing as well and can play as a make-shift center-forward too if the situation demands. Considering various aspects of the deal, it certainly seems like a decent one for all the parties involved.

It would be interesting to find out how Oliver Glasner utilizes Sarr in the upcoming season.
