Arsenal have joined Liverpool in Adrien Rabiot race this summer

The Gunners are one of the several Premier League sides who are keen to secure a transfer for Adrien Rabiot who left Juventus on a free transfer earlier this month. Rabiot has proven to be a key player for both club and country over the years.

The 29-year-old could prove to be a quality bargain for Mikel Arteta’s side who could tempted to make a move to the Premier League this summer. The French international seeks an annual wage between £8m and £13m, which could be a major stumbling block for most interested parties.

Given Rabiot’s experience and technical attributes, he could be a better alternative to Mikel Merino, who is expected to join Barcelona in this transfer window. Liverpool will give tough competition to the Gunners as they have been trying to sign the Frenchman for quite some time now.
