Tottenham closing in on Jacob Ramsey transfer from Aston Villa

North London club Tottenham are reportedly close to agreeing a deal with Aston Villa to sign Jacob Ramsey in a player-plus-cash deal.

According to TyC Sports, Spurs are ready to offer a decent £19million plus Giovani Lo Celso, who has previously played under Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery.

Reports from Argentina are almost certain that this transfer is almost completed and an official announcement regarding the same may be arriving in due course.

Villa have had a strong window, having already signed the likes of Ian Maatsen, Samuel Iling-Junior, Jaden Philogene, Enzo Barrenechea, Lewis Dobbin, Ross Barkley and Cameron Archer and they have parted ways with Douglas Luiz to Juventus and Tim Iroegbunam to Everton. However, they still need to balance the books with more sales.
