Bundesliga 2024/25 will be kicking off in six weeks and Bayern Munich have been maneuvering to strengthen their squad. It is not that Die Roten’s force was not convincing last season, but it’s just the way they deal with pressure which was concerning. 

Repeating a disastrous season is never an option for Bayern. Their new boss Vicent Kompany has been looking for a good fit for his squad in the upcoming campaign. Michael Olise and Joao Palhinha were the latest signings Bayern announced a few days ago. 

With the transfer window still open, Bayern could continue their hunt for players to reinforce the squad. Here are the 5 potential signings that Bayern could consider.

Theo Hernandez

Bayern could sign another member of Hernandez’s brother with the possibility of Alphonso Davies leaving the club. Theo, who currently plays for AC Milan, is considered a perfect replacement for the Canadian if he really leaves for Real Madrid next season. 

The Allianz Arena-based side was a no-stranger to Hernandez’s brother as Lucas, Theo’s twin, was playing four seasons with them. Lucas then decided to move to France to join Paris Saint-Germain. 

Jeremie Frimpong

Bayern was once trying to lure Bayer Leverkusen’s coach Xabi Alonso to desert a few weeks ago. However, the attempt failed as Alonso agreed to extend his service for Leverkusen next season.

This time, Bayern could land another proposition for Leverkusen to offload one of their players Jeremie Frimpong. The 23-year-old full-back was one of the most reliable players for the Netherlands in the Euro 2024. Bayern could take advantage of Frimpong’s quality to build a stronger squad than they had last season. 

Adrien Rabiot

The French showed an impressive performance during the Euro 2024 for his country. The good news is, that Rabiot is now a free-agent player after he chose not to extend his contract with Juventus. On the other hand, Juve was not interested in having another season with him. 

Rabiot would be a bargain for Bayern if they really manage to land Rabiot. His experience and composure in the midfield were crucial for Bayern. In particular, when playing against a team with decent teamwork in the midfield.

Xavi Simons

Another shining player during the Euro 2024. Xavi Simons has emerged as one of those players who could be relied on. His performance with Netherlands in the Euro was tremendous apart from his side’s loss to England in the semifinal.
