Leicester City confirm the signing of Atalanta defender Caleb Okoli

Premier League club Leicester City have confirmed the signing of Caleb Okoli from Seria A club Atalanta BC. The defender has joined the Foxes for a fee of around €15 million (as stated by Fabrizio Romano).

Okoli is Leicester’s third signing of the ongoing summer transfer window. The club earlier confirmed the signings of Michael Golding (from Chelsea), and Bobby Decordova-Reid (from Fulham).

It would be interesting to find out how the 22-year-old will fit into Steve Cooper’s plans. The center-back would be fighting for the first-team place with players like Conor Coady and Wout Faes. In the last Seria A season, he went on to play 34 matches for Atalanta.
