Real Sociedad cool their interest in Atletico Madrid’s Javi Galan

Atletico Madrid are on a transfer sale spree this summer as they have already parted ways with Mario Hermoso, Gabriel Paulista, Caglar Soyuncu and Memphis Depay. There are further exits that are on course as Stefan Savic and Saul Niguez are expected to leave, while the possible sale of Javi Galan is also a possibility.

Galan spent the second half of last season with Sociedad and it was expected that they will return for him this summer to sign him on a permanent deal, but Football Espana report that Sociedad are looking to sign Manchester City’s Sergio Gomez instead of bringing back Galan to the club.

The good news for Atletico Madrid is that they won’t find it too difficult to sell Galan this summer.
