Dortmund play Real Madrid in the final on June 1.
Greenwood currently has an estimated market value of 15 million Euros. However, a potential deal could cost Dortmund more. Greenwood is still only 22 and given his talent, he has a bright career ahead.
On loan Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood drops future hint
Mason Greenwood was awarded Getafe’s Player of the Season award. He has been the La Liga side’s main player this season. Greenwood has now insisted that he is happy at Getafe. He said (via Manchester Evening News):
“It feels amazing to receive this kind of award. I wouldn’t be able to get this achievement if it wasn’t for my teammates and the coaching staff. Everybody has done well with helping me to get this award and I want to say thank you to them.”
Greenwood added:
“I think we’ve done very well. We could have got some extra points here and there to try and push into European places but it hasn’t been possible. I feel very happy and comfortable here, it’s been an amazing experience.”
Getafe allowed Greenwood a path back to the top level of football. The Manchester United attacker was acquitted of the charges against him last year. Greenwood’s partner Harriet Robson accused the player of attempted rape, sexual assault, controlling and coercing behavior in 2022.
