Juventus is very close to signing Felipe Anderson from Lazio
The Old Lady has reportedly considered a move for Lazio attacker Felipe Anderson whose contract with Lazio will expire in the summer. The 30-year-old Brazilian footballer looks set to leave the Biancocelesti on a free transfer as he’s unhappy with the offers he received from club president Claudio Lotito.
When will Juventus sign Felipe Anderson?
The Brazilian attacker has been a key player for Lazio this season but is expected to bring his second stint with the Italian club to an end when his contract expires in the summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been reached between the player and the club and Juventus is very close to signing Felipe Anderson.
Anderson’s numbers this season haven’t really caught the eye, with three goals and seven assists in 43 appearances across all competitions. Lazio sporting director Angelo Mariano Fabiani has recently discussed about his potential departure this summer as Juventus is very close to signing Felipe Anderson.
“We often speak with Felipe Anderson’s entourage, we made him a five-year offer, also dictated by the fact that we are dealing with a true professional, a boy who can play for many more years.
“This means that the ownership believes. These are not insignificant figures, he would be the third-highest in the squad who receives important figures.
“He has proven to make a significant contribution to Lazio. However, there must be the will on the other side. If they offer him €50 million, you have to raise your hands.”
Which clubs have Felipe Anderson played for?
The Lazio attacker returned to Serie A in 2021 after a three-year stint with West Ham United in the Premier League where he contributed 12 goals and 13 assists in 73 appearances.
Anderson has scored 56 goals and provided 63 assists in 318 games across his two spells with the Lazio. The former West Ham man has already played for the Biancocelesti between the summers of 2013 and 2018
