How much it takes for a Premier League side to sign Ruben Amorim?
Ruben Amorim has stolen the attention after what he has done with Sporting CP this season. The former Benfica midfielder is under the radar of multiple clubs intending to sign him this summer including the two Premier League elite Liverpool FC and Chelsea.

Football columnist David Ornstein from The Athletic revealed that the fee of signing Amorim would be around €10 million. Liverpool would be without Jurgen Klopp next season while Chelsea are finding alternatives following a poorly executed playing plan under Mauricio Pochettino.
“Whoever takes Amorim will need to pay Sporting for his services; I’ve been told the figure this summer is €10million (£8.58m; $10.9m),” Ornstein wrote in his The Athletic column.”Others have reported higher but, whatever the precise figure, it is a lot lower than it was when Chelsea spoke to him before appointing both Graham Potter and then Mauricio Pochettino.”
Ornstein added that Liverpool might be in a more advantageous position with Sporting’s staff Paulo Barreira used to work for them in the past. However, everything has not been finalised yet with Amorim still focusing on his Liga Portugal campaign.

Liverpool are favoured to sign Amorim next season
Liverpool, according to Ornstein, are the leading suitors of Amorim’s signature. He also said that even if The Reds really have put interest in the Portuguese guy, the process would not be easy for both parties.
“My most recent information is that he is very much in the frame for Liverpool — but not Barcelona — and conversations have taken place,” he added. “But despite many on the outside suggesting he is the top target, I’m not sure that’s the case internally; not because someone else is or he won’t become that, but because there isn’t one while Liverpool continues with what will be a thorough process.”
Sporting are sitting first at the league table, collecting 68 points, leading a point gap from Benfica in the second. However, the capital side still has one match to play, meaning they would extend the lead to four points if they could beat Benfica in the upcoming league clash.
